5 cm is a film starring 5 actors who recount their friendship from childhood to family.

This film tells the story of 5 people's friendship, Riani, Juple, Ian, Genta and Zafran. the five of them almost every week gathered together, until one day when the five of them were gathering at Juple's house, Genta complained about his friendship - just like there were no other friends, then Genta made a plan not to meet in 3 month, there is no communication of any kind without exception. Genta's plan was approved by Ian because it was only Ianyang at that time that he had not finished his lecture so that this time would be used by Ian to complete his thesis.

while Riani, Juple, Genta and Zafran at that time already worked in different companies. until 3 months passed, Genta sent a short message to Ian, Riani, Juple and Zafran to meet next week at Monday's station. those five will travel to Malang city as a celebration after 3 months of not meeting. but the place for the celebration was not told exactly where, so, Ian, Juple, Riani and Zafran were curious and the four of them just followed Genta's plan.

after they arrived at Malang station, they boarded a jeep to get to a hilly place where they would head to the summit of Mount Semeru which was the highest peak in the land of Java. Ian, Riani, Juple and Zafran were invited to go to the summit of Semeru as a place of celebration after 3 months not meeting each other, but during the trip to the summit of Semeru they all got a lot of challenges starting from the extreme road, cold temperatures and others. from a journey that was so difficult when heading to the summit and that's where their friendship and companions were 5. until they arrived right in the morning on the summit of Mount Semeru, they were so amazed to see the process of the sunrise and the scenery above the charming clouds.

from such a long journey they learned the meaning of friendship and compactness and made an unforgettable history for these 5 people.
